Working within a startup as Product Manager and UX Designer gave me unprecedented freedom over the scope and style of the product and brand at large.
Designing RetailBox 6 meant going back to the heart of the product and discussing how we could redesign it from the ground up. Meticulously focusing on the essential user interface elements and closely collaborating with development and customers gave us a unique insight and approach to the design and the development of the product.

Every screen was reimagined from the signature library tab through to collections, search and discovery. A full set of custom icons, variants in both dark and light mode and constant iteration from ideation through to beta testing and release resulted in an elevated and hugely well received finished product.
We obsessed over the accessibility and hierarchy of every screen - deliberately adapting and rebuilding components where things worked better on a particular device, and rebuilding screens when things felt unnatural or overly complex.
The beauty of the new RetailBox app lies in its carefully considered form, with each element only there to serve a specific purpose.
