ParksPass
Your parks, properly rated. Safety, scenery and everything in between.
ParksPass grew from a simple personal frustration — there was no good way to compare parks. No reliable sense of what you'd actually find when you got there. So I built one.
The app opens up parks and public spaces to more people through a totally new approach to grading and visiting, built around four things that really matter: safety, amenities, quality and scenery. Rich, lively visuals capture the diversity of every space, from a quiet urban green to a sprawling countryside park. Transparent ratings help solo visitors and families alike plan with confidence, connecting communities with the spaces they care about and can access. A modern home for the spirit of the Park Ranger.

Introducing ParksPass
A new go-to park planner, with a focus on safety and amenities.
Wherever you go, ParksPass is a parks planner designed to help you find, explore and review parks, public spaces and museums for any city in the world.
With a bold, beautiful UI, simple grading, and friend invitations, you can compare places, bring friends into the fold, share what you think and organise a hang out in the park, with ease.
Plus, families can make more informed decisions on where to spend the day with kids, with detailed safety guidance and you can check out what amenities are available, before you get there.

Parks and places on the go
Every park has its perks.
With ParksPass, you can instantly check out the details for any park or public place, with quick access to the scores and highlights you should check out.
You can easily see rich visuals and recommendations from locals and tour guides, including your friends' favourites. Save a park for later and access from your Saved tab, and grade the park based on your own visit.

Clean illustrations
Richly illustrated, to make finding the right park easier.
Designed to compliment the Bramble design system, rich illustrations make ParksPass much more enjoyable for families and individuals to use, and easier for kids to understand.
Visuals guide navigation, making it much easier to get around with more realistic maps, easy signage for entry and exit points, and suggested upcoming events you'll love.

Bramble design system
A simple system made for use at day and night.
The Bramble design system is built to be big, beautiful and easy to scan. With tall, rich serif titles, round smooth edges, light drop shadows and big vibrant visuals, ParksPass is designed to have real character, bringing life to the parks and making it so much more fun to find green spaces.
To compliment the design system, our namesake crocodile, Bramble, guides you through onboarding and rating. His mouth actually becomes the rating slider, and he's always on hand to provide key details or call out local spots to check out.
Truly designed for park lovers
Impact by numbers.
ParksPass was built out of a shared love of parks between different park fans, and myself.
Designed to be simple, and lightweight, allowing for large scale testing informing the development and refinement much earlier in the design process, ParksPass is a delight to use and really fun visually to explore. Feedback was super positive across testing groups, and many of the key core grading components were agreed as an interview group.
